Cincy Digital Women and The Circuit are pleased to announce an affiliation between the two organizations. As part of the agreement, Cincy Digital Women will change its name to “The Women’s Circuit.” The combined efforts of the group will serve over 400 individuals through The Women’s Circuit in addition to the 175 member companies of The Circuit.
Both organizations work to promote technology-related business in the Tri-State and have worked together in the past to hold joint meetings, outreach programs, job postings and scholarship awards. Joining efforts will enable both organizations to better serve its member base, eliminate any overlapping activities, and make the most efficient use of the resources available.
“Partnering with Cincy Digital Women to create The Women’s Circuit is a logical step for our organizations,” states Blaine Clark, President of the Circuit. “We will immediately be able to expand our efforts to reach out to women with an interest or a career in technology.”
“The Circuit continues to show itself as a leader in serving Cincinnati’s digital community,” states Suzanne LaChapelle, who is currently the President of Cincy Digital Women and will remain in that position for The Women’s Circuit. “The Circuit’s core strength in organization and peer networking will permit our group to extend our services to more Tri-State women.”
Mr. Clark will join Ms. LaChapelle, Tracey Chriske of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and Marcie Taylor of Grant Thornton LLP on the board of The Women’s Circuit.
