The Women's Circuit's Outreach Mission is to spread awareness of technology and technology-related careers by showcasing career opportunities, technology and education as well as adding unique experience inside and outside of the classroom.
TWC offers speaking and hands-on engagements for K-12 students as well as college/university students. Open houses are available for teachers to meet speakers and gain ideas in bringing technology-focused sessions into the classroom. Field trips to local/regional businesses may be arranged upon request.
- Create relationships with educational organizations ranging from kindergarten through university in an effort to further technology as well as technology-driven occupations. Create and develop strong rapport between TWC and schools/universities to enhance and expand knowledge of technology. Continually seek information from educational organizations regarding specific speaking topics, areas of interest, as well as stay abreast of current technology curricula. Provide educational organizations lists of TWC member's areas of expertise for upcoming speaking opportunities and planning purposes. Assist in tightening the communication between the business and technology sector with that of the educational organizations. Provide an avenue for those interested in TWC programs including Mentoring, etc.
- Link speakers to 10 educational organizations in the calendar years 2002 - 2003.
